Maybe we plan to tack a short session onto the end of every Maxwell
meeting. Duane had some good ideas for an interactive meme page on
the Web. The basic idea was to have a database of short memes "sound
bites" and facilities for rating the items on several criteria and
adding commentaries.

Example memes:

Religion is the opiate of the masses.
All's fair in love and war.
Carpe diem.
He who hesistates is lost.
Look before you leap.
Truth wins out.
The unexamined life is not worth living.
A very popular error: having the courage of one's convictions;
rather it is having the courage for an attack on one's convictions!

Dimensions to rate memes:
truth
profundity
usefullness
aesthetics
others?

The idea is to gather data on memetics so we could see, for example,
if all the memes rated highly on aesthetics or usefullness have anything
in common.
