An analytic statement, in contradistinction to a synthetic statement,
is one that is true by virture of its form. A common example is
"all bachelors are unmarried males". I believe W.V.O.Quine showed
that all apparent analytic statements are in fact synthetic, though
I will have to do some research to provide an explanation of the
argument.

Some assertions have a fuzzy truth value.
