Your scepticism does not correllate with "blind faith" in those that actually have a postion. My position is that conciousness is something that evolves through the interaction of biology and culture. This evolution re-occurs with each individual born into our culture where consciousness is a real phenomenon. If there is something that is wrong with this picture, I hold it open to rational criticism. This is not "blind faith", and the continued insistence that it is, can evolve to the level of impugning the sincerity of one who does. Blind faith is something that you don't hold open to rational criticism.
