And you get what you pay for.

It's a can of worms, but youth always dances with the specters of the forbidden, as does genius. Genius, we assume, learns a craft, while youth, if it moves at all, merely replaces itself.

But that's its job.

Getting old takes thought. Wars and the priesthood need youth. The state that sanctifies its conquests is the most corrupt. But there'll be others, and more.
