You sound like you're referring to est, which was before my time so I didn't get a chance to do it. My parents also did it, though, and didn't "get it" either. It's too bad Context is going out of business... it's one of the few such workshops I recommend. Their last Pursuit of Excellence course is being offered in Seattle March 4-7. Financially, they were apparently unable to compete with the hucksters. Of course memetic theory would predict that, but it's still sad.

No, I've tried it and failed to be burnt- there was no there there. I didn't get it.
