That isn't exactly the case. Unfortunately, the "abusive" person is her own mother, who she must live with for financial and emotional reasons. She is trapped. The mother is not the original cause of the past abuse, but is still a vile, evil, evil woman. My friend is not even capable of having the slightest relationship with a member of the opposite sex.
