You know, I've been meaning to read that book for a very long time now, but unfortunately I am literally up to my eyeballs in required literature as usual. Will it never end? Some day....Well anyway, thanks for the explanation.

I'd like to add that all this depends on your definition of "racism", because in general the term can be quite sticky.
