This is an interesting thread and I'm learning a lot about the participants by their responses to KMO's hypothetical question. Quite interesting indeed...

BTW, if I'm ever stranded and in real trouble, remind me to knock on a Christian's door before David's. True charity sees only the need, not the truth value of its expression.
