you believe that?! (pun intended)

this sounds absolutely terrible... "convictions" connotes too many things: surely you dont mean convictions [opinions] are the end of knowledge [fact]. if you believe that convictions [beliefs, opinions, dogmas] are the end of knowledge... where does that leave you (this sentence is a lie)? stick to the wording of the rest of the paragraph: "dogmas are the end..."
