Maybe this is admitting too much, but working for RAND seems like a dream job to me. :-) I'm currently doing RAND-like research in my spare time, simulating iterated prisoner dilemma games in the domain of agent-based computational economics: <http://www.econ.iastate.edu/tesfatsi/ace.htm>. You can find references to my work in the Trade Network Game and SimBioSys sections of <http://www.econ.iastate.edu/tesfatsi/acecode.htm>.

What kind of person would want to work in the "secret lair where amoral geniuses conspire darkly"? As long as I'm making true confessions I'm an INTx in the Keirsey temperament sorter, a Myers-Briggs clone. The x means I'm equally perceiving/judging which makes me an Architect/Mastermind. See <http://keirsey.com/personality/nt.html> for an analysis.

I would encourage everyone to take the test on-line at <http://www.keirsey.com/cgi-bin/keirsey/newkts.cgi> and report your results to the list for our mutual edification. I found it rather enlightening.
