I have a question for you: is it accurate to say that religion must change from being group centered to individual centered, i.e. that the important unit in religion is no longer the "flock" (of sheep) but rather the "pack" (of wolves), or even possibly the individual?

If so, I'd just point out that such changes have happened in religion before -- Jesus and the Buddha were both responsible for making religion more of a personal thing than it had been before, and the reformation (following Luther) was, amoung other things, about empowering individuals to take control of their religion back from the Catholic Church. Do you see the coming changes in religion as
*repeating* what has gone before to any extent?
