What we have is a culture of revenge. A society that makes a virtue of retribution. From the right wing's Rule of Law to the left wing's litigious political correctness antics (you hurt my feelings and you're gonna pay) to the bad guy in a movie who gets it in such a way that it gives us all a BIG RUSH when he is killed. "He deserved it" Right? ..........Wrong again. Our society has taken hard won concepts of justice and twisted them into an Old Testament God. (exuse me while I puke)
