The only thing in this universe that "necessitates" replication is the unavoidable process of evolution. Sorry, Brett, your logic is impenetrable to me. I suggest you give copious examples and analogies of your ideas regarding the dynamics of <medicine>, couched in everyday terms that the intended recipients are familiar with, and pay particular attention to causality. Anything less would be doing a disservice to your (assumed) goal of spreading your ideas.
