I agree, and like you watch it every day. I have watched and wished for nuclear obliteration to hit Washington DC too many times now (message for the paranoid - I don't really want to see this happen). If it weren't for all the pretty statues and important monuments, I would not miss many of our politicians.

I keep thinking their party is over too, but it just won't happen - It's like watching that golf ball on the cusp of going into the hole, and wavering on the edge. Will they go away, or will they polarize enough UTism people to keep themselves alive and spreading fear, hatred and ignorance. Just a note, when I am speaking of "they" here, I specifically mean the republican right that is elected in the House and Senate. Fortunately, a great deal of the other republicans voted against this particular measure.

As for outlawing Playboy - that made me really pissed, but the SC did save us - whew. Prisons weren't so lucky -Imagine yourself as a prisoner where these magazines are illegal (Michigan comes to mind). I would hate to be a small or skinny guy in one of those prisons. If I ever go to the big house, I'm putting on another 30 pounds (ill be over 250 that way) shaving my pointy head, and growing the gnarliest beard I can, like Wade (jk).

I do agree that the Right is going down, but like a bus crashing, i just hope there are not that many good people in the way.
