How about a slightly wider base such as:

The optimal functional societal model involves harnessing the selection
pressures that have been so useful in driving the evolution of biological
organisms. The best approximation of this model that has been discovered
is a Capitalist system in which individuals are encouraged to live in
their own self interest. Since this is in harmony with evolved behaviours
it is simple to implement, just let it happen. It works the best because
a system composed of unique individuals is
too complex to be understood at the level of a government and therefore
governments should serve minimal, well defined functions in a rational
society.
