Look, Tom, I'm sorry.

I don't spend my time here in order to make enemies. Negative emotional energy
does not sustain conversation for long, and little constructive comes of it.
If we don't at least attempt to give each others statements a sympathetic read
then there will be no communication at all. Language is flexible enough that
no string of words cannot be twisted into something it was not meant to be.

Maybe we could all just take a deep breath and start over. A collection of
people intelligent enough to use computers should be able to have a reasonable
conversation. I've contributed to the escalating hostility, and I apologize.

Peace, huh? Wars get started this way.
