Okay, maybe the thoery about telepathy was a little shaky. Still, that's no
reason to discount it at all. In fact, as this ability is definately not with
most of us today, perhaps it never was much stronger in the past, but
even today we hear of people who claim to have had supernatural or psychic
phenomena. Perhaps there were no more occurrences of this in the past either,
but due to limited knowledge about the world around, and a general fear of the
unknown, it was interpreted as acts of higher powers.

I like the idea of "inter-group telepathy", as it provides some explanations
of various unexplained by science issues. It may not be true, but it is a
nice idea.

There has been a theory floating around for some time about the
possibility of inter-group telepathy based on hallucinogenics (sp?).
Whether or not anyone reading this is into that sort of thing, bear
with me for a second.

The theory is that if more than one person (hence, 'group') takes a
dosage from the same 'batch' of a certain hallucinogenic drug, the
capability for sharing the same feeling or concept without being in
direct visual or audial contact is that much greater. I have met a
few different people who have described situations where this sort of
thing has happened, and I myself have encountered (what I believe to
be) this scenario twice so far.
