I disagree. People should be able to make their own decisions
about what they want to look like (and how they want to live
their lives). And certainly some people can really benefit
from the above surguries (i make no claim as to the percentage
who actually *do* have these large benefits).

Good advice... but why the galoshes, i like being barefoot in the
summer rain. (Is there any real evidence that being physically
cold causes illness in a healthy person (other than my mother used
to say so)?)

You are probably also young. Best advice, stay young forever, and
avoid all the insults of getting old ;-)
