When I read Richard's comment that a leap of faith is necessary, my first
thought was that I guess I don't know what level 3 is after all since I
haven't had a leap of faith yet (that I am aware of, important distinction).
My take on "level-3" is that it is Richard's term for postmodern thinking,
which is merely the realization that the map is not (and can never be) the
territory with respect truth and reality. Actually this isn't a fair
characterization of level-3 since it says nothing about choosing a life
purpose, so maybe level-3 is a superset of a postmodern mindset.
