virus: Making Hypocrites

David,

Thank you for the explanation. I've been to your page. Now, that I know
*love* is Cohesive Math too, I enjoy it even better! :)

Our posts are in fact strings of bits (digits 0 or 1) so -- correct me if
I am wrong -- according to CM, each post can be said to be a big number
(or a HUGE one). To one of the recent posts you replied:
"Wade! I'm hurt! : )". How can numbers hurt?

I may not understand what Cohesive Math and Zero are about, but at least
you let me read what you mean. Thank you for not saying that a chimp like
me will never be able to understand it without a faithful jump to "Zero"
(as so-called "level-3" people would).

>Every new definition of Level 3 is either meaningless, useless,
>completely personal, or contradicts several other definitions.
>CoV claims to have some level of rationality and this so-called
>"Level 3" undermines this.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. There *are* jumps between ways of
living, I'm sure from my own experience. The understanding of each jump
may come suddenly and may be difficult to explain to others.
Psychologists have been working on it and it is exciting to watch the
results of their work. I am under a big influence of Nathaniel Branden
whose book "The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem" is a masterpiece. He does not
promote himself too much and he is not as well known as Tony Robbins, for
example, but I find his theory extremely well developed and at the same
time practical and useful, as Branden says himself: "on all levels of your
development". The "selfrealization", extensively described by Maslow, is
also a great concept. The "Flow" by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi -- another
great one. They all relate to Richard's "level-3". The only difference
is: none of them tells you "you won't be able to understand it".

It is all fascinating, and yet... instead of learning more about it, we
are arguing about words. Richard is already ridiculing not only my posts
(as he did in May) and spreading the "believe me blindly" meme. Is he
doing it on purpose as a memetical experiment (which would be not quite
ethical without our consent, as I suggested in one of my earliest posts)
or he really "lost it" somewhere between here and the Bahamas?

>It makes us hypocrites.

Nobody can MAKE you a hypocrite, David. Even Richard!

Second thought... maybe they *are* cutting edges in the Bahamas?
We'll soon see...

Thank you Hakeeb and Vicki for your fast response: you saved my life.
Hakeeb, I went there: http://www.ais.org/duck/pi.html, it's amazing!
The say they have "PI - to a LOT of decimal places".
I couldn't resist to count it: it is 99,996 digits! It will let me
write 5 posts a day for the next 55 years! Thank you!
BTW, I do not know a difference between accuracy and precision.
