Hmmmm. I was under the impression that axioms are used /in/ definitions,
that they are /used/ to /make/ distinctions. Am I using the right word
for the wrong concept? If I am, somebody give me a textual 'kick in the
head'... "BAD poster, BAD!" :-O

I usually wouldn't pick such nits, but It's been my experience that
a common foundation of fundamental concepts really needs to be
established before any reasonable communication between parties can
