David R. has skimmed *so* close to my metaphysics.

Considering that rational thought is ultimately programmed spiritually
rather than mentally, I find it highly disturbing that scientific
research into 'spiritual' phenomena is currently analogous to the
phlgoston[sic] theory of combustion in chemistry.
