angels vs. demons are in fact encrypted analogies for this memetic
process
that have arisen as a byproduct of the selection pressures of those very
same memetic processes on thier host culture?

And little me shall mumble:
There's this point of view (I have the feeling I've already posted it
once), that what we call god is simply a certain part in our own mind.
We treat the commanding part of our mind, or the one which makes the
final decision, as our God.
Now that I think of it, memes can fit well as angels in this model.

Thoughts anyone?
