Defending truth or not, destruction is destruction. You used the word
"destroy" or some form of the word when you saw a "trap". Some would
"solve" a riddle or "ignore" a non-sequiter, or "posit" and alternative, or
"assist" in devising a solution. Even the word "definding" implies that
there is someone attacking. A person does not have to attack and defend and
destroy to find truth.
