Okay. I think it would be useful to construct a meta-church or sorts. A
church entirely of form. Without any substance. Just the meme-structures
that make up a religion. I have a feeling it would be self-perpetuating
and beautiful (especially when people realized that it WAS only skin
deep!). That's why I think the emotional not logical element is worth
exploring. It's a neccisary part of that equation.

You, David, could plug "Rationality" into the `substance slot' in
this machine and then sit back and laugh as others embraced logic because
of it's emotional appeal!

Richard could plug in "Find your Life Purpose" in the same slot and get
his goals accomplished.

Tad could plug in "Expose Manipulation" and it would work for him.

And I could put "Look at the substance not the form" in that same slot and
laugh myself silly with irony as people studied the form to death hoping
to find a substance that was never there!
