Many zero-sum games are in fact very concerned with "fairness", and
include referees and umpires to decide such issues. I wouldn't say a
concern with "fairness" is a good sign that you're playing a non-zero-sum

who notes that Nomic, like life, may or may not be a zero-sum game,
depending on what the players make of it.
