I'm not waffling here, more pancaking....

Yes, the meditative state is very- empty. (For lack of a better term.)

The dream state is very full.

But- both involve a non-active physical state, induced or somnabulent.

I think I would be interested in similarities here, not differences.
There may be some things poking out from both these fabrics.
