I'm not so sure consciousness behaves in the way we have (most vaguely)
claimed that a meme would.

Is it transmittable? (Whether it actually does or not.)

Is it open to mutation during propigation? (Again, I think "propigation"
is the stumbling block here.)

Does consciousness "replicate"? If so, how?
