Interesting. IMHO Prince's rendition was fitfully, even musically, (rare
for him) inferior, even characteristically narcissistic with his change
of words. And did he have anything to do with the 'rebirth' of Vanity? A
pox on 'im if so....
Also, to me, it's never been a 'what if' question....
