Regarding the priest class, the learned Prof. wrote:

As for the layman class:

I think that the layman class at least can be stated clearly
with two sayings.

* Ideas can spread from mind to mind, changing *
* somewhat on the way, and we call these memes. *

And:

* It is possible to partially control *
* which memes we are exposed to, which *
* memes we host, and which memes we spread. *

May I also suggest that we lift a technique from the Discordians?
The one I am refering to is the POPE trick, in which cards are
drawn up and distributed, which say:

********************************
* The Bearer of this Card is a *
* Genuine and Authorized *
* POPE *
* *
* So treat him right! *
********************************

This will only work for a k-stratagy movement, like the laymen,
but that is all we are using it for. We simply announce that
we are flinging the doors of the Church open, and that anyone
that fulfils the qualification of understanding the basic idea
of memetics is automatically ordained as a lay minister, and
then we just exhort them to spread the knowledge of memetics,
so that people can have another tool for understanding
themselves and others and thus bring the world as a whole
closer together...averting global catastrophy...the word must
be spread...Yes! yes!

oh..sorry..got carried away.

I still think it'll work.
