List,

Define "abstract". Not to be confused with non-objective: "Engine" is
abstract (there is no "engine" in a car...there are parts which work
together to make the car work, including "combustion", and "gas"). Like
"engine" is an abstraction (or process related to many objective parts),
"meme" is abstract...but not necessarily non-objective. Let's not put the
meme in a realm which can only be studied in theory or on paper!
