lambda vectors I've never heard of -- but memes as EIGENVECTORS makes a
heck of a lot of sense!!!
An eigenvector is a vector with the property that
F(x) = c*x, where c is a scalar.
Essentially, the vector remains unchanged by the function -- which looks
like a good way to express a meme!
I don't have much time right now to write on this -- gotta pack up the old
'puter and go home for reading week. I'll see if I can say more a little
