I am not just upset with R/B B/R here... I have looked up some of your
names on the web. How many books have been authored here? I do not
agree with everything that Richard has in his books, but I enjoyed
reading them as much to find out who he was... With *was* being the
operative word here. I doubt, (forgive me Richard if I speak out of
turn) that Richard had the same ideas the day after he sent his books to
print...
But he had the courage to put his ideas out there for good or for bad.
And just because you do not agree with him, is no reason to trash him.
As far as I am concerned, I miss Richard's involvment here. Even David
who I admire because he has put in the work on the website and the list,
seems to post less frequently.
I admire all of your minds... I have learned much from all of you. But
I must say that everything I read that Wade has posted has been colored
by my hurt feelings when he said that any theist is "mentally defective".
Now, it has been my experience that when people resort to name calling,
it is usually because they can not sustain their argument logically or
civally. OK... I did not even assume that this was what caused the
insult. But if you have a chance in hell of creating something here of
lasting value, you better figure out how to value the unique vision of
each person who is interested enough to subscribe.
Sorry, I am having a wonderful day and I want to feel as wonderful here
as I used to.
Oh, and to R/B B/R.... you had better fess up or I will nark you!
