It might only be because the article was written by a 'magickan' on
alt.magick, a newsgroup I do not frequent. The article itself made no
mention (in my memory, a rapidly failing thing) about psychokinesis,
although I'd love to be able to drop Clinton's pants in public with just
the power of my thoughts, rather than hire the agent who will only do it
in private.

Nothing. Never stopped any magickans before, don't expect it to stop any
now.

There are, and had better be, more and more people unwilling to create
this dualism, and this Church, Random Quanta Dammit, should be a big part
of that list. Our Noted Scribe of Most Probable Truths, R. Dawkins, has
said same on numerous occasions. It may even be that Our Schizoid
Discoverer of Most Invisible Phalluses, R. Brodie (no relation), may
during certain parts of the day, hold the same contention.

For what it's worth, there ain't no reason to split the two. That is why
it should be a major tenet here. When the day comes, if it ever does,
that an 'artificial' data storage and sensor equipped vessel achieves
sufficient complexity to manage a mind, well, then, maybe we'll know
where the interface lies.
