Man i like you nobody!!! This is almost exactly how I see it. I would even go one step
further to say that if indeed the fist sized piece of organic material between my ears
has developed consciousness in a matter of a few hundred million years, then what is to
say the the Universe itself, being nearly infinately more complex and large, and having
existed on the order of 12-16 billion years, isn't conscious. I dont see evidence that
it is, but I certainly cant say it isn't. Then my next question would be - does it
notice its inner workings, or or we just so many cells in it's blood stream (Actually
much smaller than that I would guess).
