I'm saying that you would be one of the very few people I've ever met
(AND I don't believe this to be true) if you actually comprehended the
fact that--not only can you learn from children-- but that they are your
intellectual equals and superior to you in spirit (developmentally
speaking, as I've said). The adult makes errors, supressesses, denies,
projects, buys in, sells out, and otherwise limits their mental and
spiritual capacities so that -- with the exception of arbeterarily
chosen criteria (*adult* criteria, which would include most everything
MOST people look at to determine *adult* intelligence), they are
superior to adults (more empathic, more natural, more accomodating, more
easily acclimitized, quicker learners, better memory, more accepting,
better balanced, more open, etc.). The "normal" idea of adults being
superior to children and thus responsible for teaching them is a
cultural view and results in the attitude that force is required to tell
children what is best for them.

Are you saying I don't learn from kids?
