Nate's points taken. Maybe the story was boring to them, and the students
simply didn't care.

But the above is exactly what scared me, and what I called 'the devil':
uncritical thinking. Mental laziness. It's easier to say 'who's to judge'
than to actually think about it.

I've been seeing this moral 'anything goes' in the students I deal with
worldwide -- 17/18 yo. What scared me about this article was the fact that
the students there were much older.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Won't be online for a few days but
welcome further insights from others.
