And the Earth couldn't possibly be spherical, and the Sun couldn't possibly
be the center of the solar system.
There's a difference between a group's deciding to ignore an issue which is
ultimately uninteresting, and agreeing that 'the matter is a closed book'.
They really should put 'gullible' back in the Oxford dictionary.
