i wonder...
if i read that manual enough, studying every paragraph and made a daily
regime out it... fanatically watched the episodes (my preachers of the holy
word of my star trek technical manual) bought the action figures (idols) ..
and attended the conventions (mass) .. i would find the answers i crave in
life, the harmony between races as the Federation commands, the Prime
Directive, the diplomacy of meeting new people, and the sciences of
discovering new things...
i dunno, sounds vageuly like a cockamanie scheme that has been done before,
i just cant put my finger on it, prolly something to do with that barely
palatable memory of mine.
