As a trekkie (and proud) I can testify that the fictionof Star Trek is much
closer to any reality than the beliefs of religion. The morals are much better
(in my opinion) also. In Trek, the main function is to explore, learn and
improve mankind through betterment of the individual. Fortunatley, Trek is
consistent and hardfast in its attempts to stay scientifically accurate, and
have a huge budget just to be sure they are as close as possible.
