naw.. i dont remember specifics, but some amazingly advanced dying race
planted genetic information in different spots in the galaxy (universe?) in
the hopes that their race would live on in some way ... and long down the
line, humans, klingons, romulans, etc etc etc evolved... that description
is spotty at best, but ya get the general idea
