Indeed, although there's never any need to get metaphysics into any act.

What I know humanity to be is the human spirit- what I show others of
this knowledge is spirituality. Wilson's use of it is in the same vein-
it is the _uniqueness_ of the human as the animal struts his stuff on
this oblate stage.

But all this massaging of feelings by posturing loonies which is the
rampant newage (rhymes with sewage) manifestation of 'spirituality' (I
especially love the white boys fresh from the reservation, full of tribal
ancient amerindian ritual 'energies' and offering seminars in this
'forgotten source'...) is just so much odiferous camel vomit.

The most spiritual act of this or any other century was our first step
onto the moon. The next one will be our first step out of the natural
genome.
