A couple of years ago I was "infected" by this newspaper column written
by Mark Baldridge at the University of Nebraska. I had just stumbled on
to it totally by accident - and it's memes found fertile soil. It's what
really hooked me into studying memetics in the first place - and what's
nice is that it's written for a lay audience. A very nice piece of
memetic engineering. If you haven't seen it, take a look:
