In Brazil avocados are mashed (to the consistency of heavy cream), mixed
with sugar and lime, and eaten as dessert. I freaked out when I first saw
avocados in salads or made into guacamole, though I've now developed a
taste for 'salty' avocado.

As for seeds, is a tomato a fruit? A cucumber?
