Is "heehee" a meme? Just kidding.

Seriously though : if someone were to say to me :-
"I believe in flying pigs" and I said to them
"That's bullshit" and them I forgot all about it.
Did I truely develop a counter-meme for an ephemeral
time or did I merely reject someone elses meme?

On a personal level as an atheist I don't go about
"spreading the atheist word" so exactly how is
atheism memetic?

BTW has anyone notice that the expression "Bio-Memetic Gel"
is a hot buzz-phrase on Star Trek Voyager and DS9?
