Good : what increases the survival capacity of a species or group.

Evil : what decreases the survival capacity of a species or group.

Consequence : Good and Evil can be relative depending
on the point of view of the species or group in question.

This mechanism is part and parcel of the Go[o]d/[D]evil dichotomy.
