Well, from where I come from, and from where I learned my republicanism,
a small town in Connecticut, such was the nature of the GOP. Democrats
were, on the other hand, raving socialists, and such is their state here
in the People's Republic of Cambridge, where I am among a very small,
very timid gathering of registered GOP's, looking for socially liberal,
economically conservative ideas....

But I listen to every candidate. If by applying the sobriquet of
Republican I did not also don the mantle of pariah around these parts,
I'd be an Independent, like any good namby-pamby voter in these Ununited
States.
