I'm not sure where you get "internal dissent" from my post, nor
that what I am doing is "suppressing" it- what I'm saying is that our
perceptions are faulty and incomplete, and must be complemented by
discipline and attention if they are to yield anything like an
"objective" (ho, ho) view of the world. It's not about internal
dissent- the problems that I'm talking about are neurological as much as
anything, and deny resolution. Nor would I "suppress" anything other
than the notion that truth is "in here" and distortion "out there",
which is EXACTLY the opposite of the case. The Veil of Maya is in our
own eyes, and nowhere else.
