Obviously they weren't very scientific. We say he was a fun-gus, one of
many fun-guy. Another rule: generally, X ee um is one of of many
-Xuh. This is a rule which comes from a language which is no longer
used and used many different letters, yet we refuse to apply our
conventions asside from letters for fear of offending the dead guys who
used to rule the world :)
