I think the question is meaningful to anyone who deals with some sort of
oppression. Anyone who cannot live according to their own belief system
is not free, and cannot be free without this basic requirement. We so
often want to help the helpless, at least most of us do, but without an
understanding of the helpless persons beliefs and desires we are just as
likely to do as much harm as good. Many of us value our freedom above
all else, and would fight to the death to keep what freedom we have. Its
not about being right or wrong, it's about accepting their free will, or
self determination.

Thats how I look at it anyway.
